About ADARRT

Alcohol and Drug Addicts Research Rehabilitation and Treatment Centre

At the Alcohol and Drug Addicts Research Rehabilitation and Treatment Centre, Pala, we believe that every person deserves a second chance at life, a life free from the grip of addiction. Founded with compassion, backed by research, and driven by a mission to heal, our centre stands as a trusted haven for individuals and families seeking recovery from alcohol and substance dependence.

Nestled in the serene surroundings of Pala, Kottayam, our facility provides a calm, nurturing, and confidential environment that encourages healing from within. We combine modern medical care, evidence, based psychological therapies, and holistic wellness practices to support complete physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery.

Our team consists of experienced psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, counselors, therapists, and social workers who work together to design personalized treatment plans for every resident. Beyond detoxification and therapy, we focus on rebuilding confidence, restoring relationships, and reintegrating individuals into society with renewed strength and purpose.
We also conduct ongoing research and community awareness programs to understand the roots of addiction and promote preventive education across Kerala. Our goal is not just rehabilitation, but transformation, helping individuals rediscover dignity, stability, and hope. Because recovery is not a destination; it’s a journey. And at our centre, you never walk that path alone.

Guiding lives from addiction to recovery with compassion and care. Together, we build a healthier, drug-free tomorrow

Our Vision

To build a society free from the grip of alcohol and drug abuse through a holistic approach that combines conscientization, compassionate treatment, continuous patient support, cutting-edge research, and the establishment of dedicated institutions that empower individuals, families, and communities toward lasting recovery and wellness.

Our Mission

We are committed to liberate lives from alcohol and drug abuse through compassionate, holistic care—awakening awareness, offering dignified treatment, and supporting recovery every step of the way. By fostering resilience, empowering families, and strengthening communities, we promote healing through research, care, and connection.

OUR PRIOR SUPPORT

After Recovery Services

Relapse Prevention Counselling

Recovery doesn’t end with rehabilitation—it continues through mindful living. Our relapse prevention program offers regular counseling sessions to help individuals recognize triggers, manage stress, and develop coping strategies. Each session is designed to strengthen mental resilience and prevent a return to substance use.

Alumni Network & Mentorship Program

Our Alumni Circle connects past patients who have successfully completed recovery. Through mentorship and community gatherings, they provide inspiration and firsthand support to newly recovering individuals, proving that long-term sobriety is possible and fulfilling.

Family Reintegration Support

Rebuilding family relationships is a vital part of sustained recovery. Through guided family therapy sessions, we help bridge communication gaps, resolve emotional conflicts, and prepare both patients and family members for life after rehab. This ensures a stable, supportive home environment.

Wellness & Mindfulness Retreats

To sustain emotional balance and inner peace, we host annual wellness retreats that combine exercise, meditation, and holistic therapies. These retreats help participants maintain focus, manage stress, and stay grounded in their recovery journey.

Support Group Meetings

Healing is easier when you’re not alone. We organize weekly and monthly group meetings where recovering individuals can share experiences, challenges, and progress in a safe, non-judgmental space. Peer encouragement and shared learning promote motivation and long-term stability.

Emergency Helpline Support

Relapse or emotional distress can occur unexpectedly. Our 24/7 helpline offers immediate guidance, counselling, and crisis management for patients or families who need quick assistance, ensuring help is always within reach.
